Zachary J. A. Coon - Principal

Zach Coon was admitted to the practice of law in the State of Maryland in 2010, the U.S. District Court (District of Maryland) in 2011, and the U.S. Court of Appeals (Fourth Circuit) in 2011.  He earned his law degree (Magna Cum Laude) from the University of Baltimore, where he was a Dean Scholar and a teaching assistant.  He earned his undergraduate degree in journalism from the University of Maryland.  

 

He represents businesses of all sizes, including banks, hotels, contractors, and commercial landlords.  Zach's practice centers on commercial litigation and business dispute resolution. He represents creditors and debtors in confessed judgment proceedings and complex post-judgment enforcement actions.   His practice in construction law includes representing general and subcontractors in a wide range of matters, from bid protests and mechanic’s liens, to close-out disputes and equitable adjustment claims.  He also assists clients in asset protection, estate planning and wealth preservation.   

 

Zach is a member of the Litigation Section and Construction Law Section of the Maryland State Bar Association.  He is also a member of the Baltimore and Harford County bar associations.
