David E. Baxter, Jr. is an associate who focuses on commercial law, including litigation, transactions and real estate.

Dave graduated from the University of Baltimore School of Law, where he was a member of the Real Estate Law Association and wrote on the university’s Journal of Land and Development, authoring the 2017 article, What the Fraction: A Divisive Look into the Necessary Revisions to the Department of Interior’s Fractioned Land Buy-Back Program Amongst Diminishing Funding. He earned his undergraduate degree in economics from the University of South Carolina, where he was a member of the Phi Sigma Kappa fraternity. Dave was a law clerk at Coon & Cole prior to joining the firm as an associate.

Dave is admitted to the practice of law in Maryland, as well as the U.S. District Court (District of Maryland) and the U.S. Court of Appeals (4th Circuit).

He is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association, Baltimore County Bar Association and Talbot County Bar Association.

A Howard County native who has put down roots in Baltimore City, in his spare time Dave enjoys golf and backpacking.
