Katherine E. Bukowsky is a seasoned business lawyer concentrating in real estate law and commercial transactions, as well as trademark law, commercial litigation and general business law.
Katie represents business owners, lenders, landlords and tenants in commercial transactions, including drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, leases and related documents, such as amendments, assignments, SNDAs, estoppels, deeds and releases. She routinely assists clients in contract negotiations, due diligence issues, title issues and corporate organization matters. She has considerable experience handling commercial real estate closings. She also represents financial institutions and lenders with respect to loan documents, participation agreements, security agreements, modifications, defaults and enforcement, including commercial foreclosures and confessed judgments.
Katie is a graduate of the University of Baltimore School of Law, where she was a student fellow of the Center for International and Comparative Law and participated in a summer internship in Sarajevo with the American Bar Association in 2002. She received her undergraduate education at the College of Charleston, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in political science.
Katie is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association’s Real Property and State and Local Government sections. She is also a licensed title insurance producer in Maryland and a member of the Towson community.
